Peter has a technology background and is specifically tasked with all aspects of operational risk relating to information security, information technology, business continuity planning and disaster recovery and technology infrastructure. In addition, Peter is responsible for project directorship of major client projects undertaken by RiskBusiness.

Peter has worked extensively in the venture capital and private equity field, providing technology due diligence services to financiers considering acquisition or investment into technology companies. These services have typically been delivered as a form of risk assessment exercise.

Peter was previously Chief Technology Officer at Financial Objects plc, a leading provider of wholesale banking software. In this role, Peter was responsible for the development and maintenance of all software and the implementation of the software at over 100 customers. As a founding and main board director, Peter was also responsible for the QMS and the BS5750 registration and the implementation of the internal controls to satisfy the requirements for the Turnbull guidelines on corporate governance.

Peter holds a BA in Maths and Computing Science from the University of Stirling in Scotland.
