Jonathan is a Managing Director and co-founder of RiskBusiness. His previous consulting assignments include working for the Risk Management Association (RMA) on a framework for KRI development, designing and writing their educational program for operational risk, as well as other industry-wide studies and individual bank remits associated with risk management, while most recently, Jonathan has led several multi-million dollar consulting projects in the area of risk and control self assessment, loss data and scenario analysis. Previously the Head of Operational Risk Control for UBS Warburg (UBSW), Jonathan was responsible for the development of the UBSW operational risk management, risk measurement and risk education process. As an Executive Director, Jonathan was also responsible for the production of cost and efficiency measures including the design and implementation of the UBSW activity based costing process. He had over 10 years of experience at UBSW in Risk Control, Operations, Financial Control and Business Unit Control. He actively represented UBSW to regulators and the industry on the revisions to the regulatory capital framework. He chaired the ISDA working group on Operational Risk and was a member of the ITWG and the IIF and RMA working groups. Jonathan previously worked for Bankers Trust and Ernst & Young. He is a Chartered Accountant and graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in Molecular Sciences. |
